My current role
I work in respiratory medicine at CUH with a clinical interest in COPD.
I lead the cardiopulmonary exercise testing service.
My research concerns the lived experience of people with COPD and access to care form less well served communities.
I am National Clinical Director for Respiratory Diseases and Chair for the Specialised Respiratory Clinical Reference Group at NHS England, providing national clinical leadership, advice, input and support.
Previous history
I studied at University of Sheffield and did my initial post graduate work in Glasgow There I undertook my PhD in exercise physiology before moving to work as a registrar, later consultant, in Cambridge.

Personal interests
